ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Eric Warren has long been a respected Jazz bassist and composer. His 2015 album "Expression and Reflection" received 4 1/2 stars from All About Jazz.com. That album featured stiring emotioinal composition in the ECM style of European Jazz. Next, Eric grabbed the opportunity to arrange a composition for The Saint Louis Symphony to be used at the opening of The Skip Virah Center for the Arts. He then turned his writing talents to classical music in the concert band and solo piano idioms. The current album of classical solo piano compositions features 4 of his finest works as played by Missouri native and virtuoso pianist, Ken Kehner. Ken was featured on Eric's jazz album and was the perfect choice to interpret the new classical works for piano. The session was held at Pete Ruthenberg's home studio where Ken played a Yamaha concert grand piano. The sessions are live with no overdubs.
