A Songwriting Masterpiece!
I have been listening to Erin McCallum since 2006, and have never been disappointed. This new album is a songwriting masterpiece. In true Erin McCallum style, the lyrics and the music she writes speaks to the masses. That voice is something else too! Beyond the album itself, this music crosses the border of genre, which I think it great for the Blues. We're listening to someone who is a really good steward of the future of the Blues, and it is obvious when I listen to this album. For anyone out there who wants to hear great music, fine compositions, and be moved by the message, this is a great one to have! This album goes beyond the usual scope of Blues, so ALL music lovers will enjoy this one! I say get it - you will not be disappointed! McCallum truly is one of the best lyricists out there, and it shows on this album. Well done!

Another fabulous collection of music
Having all of Erin's other albums, I always wait with anticipation for the next one and this latest release doesn't doesn't disappoint. Possessing a unique sound that is all her own, Erin writes from the heart and takes anyone who listens along on her personal journey. Her style is unmistakably hers, backed by a superbly experienced and professional group of musicians. Sometimes her lyrics are haunting and thought-provoking and other times they can be playful and fun but always with that driving Blues beat. I have enjoyed listening to her maturity through the years. If you haven't heard Erin yet, give yourself a treat and listen! Great job, Erin! Keep them coming.
