Album Notes
"With an anachronistic flair for sexy, southern-style tunes to beat the country and blues at their own game.” -Feast of Music, 2013

"...The fact is, Erin Sax could proudly don the Miss Paradox sash: melancholy and upbeat, demure and spunky—all at one and all in the same cut..." -AntiMusic.com

"Just got home from seeing Erin Sax Seymour blow the doors off Cafe V..."- Dean Collins, The Music New Review

NEW YORK – MARCH 17 - Erin Sax is best known as the lead singer of the band "Hands off My Sister.” Bluesy and ornery, her music lives somewhere between Bonnie Raitt and Merle Haggard (if there were such a love child). Her live performances have often been compared to a young Patty Smith. As a touring artist, she has performed at venues across the United States and Europe, been featured on NPR's Performance Place, The Caravan Blues Radio Hour and The Alchemist Playground and she has shared the stage most recently with country bad boy Robert Earl Keen, Marshall Crenshaw and The Samples.

Erin’s new single “Happy” is the title track for the upcoming Judd Hirsch movie, “Red Robin”, which is premiering at SXSW 2013. Her debut solo album, "Mercy," is produced by Clay Holley who also has produced Adele, Amy Winehouse, and John Legend
