Album Notes
Ermitt Williams, better Know as Mr.Blues is native of Harlem,he was born in the 30's at the top of the Harlem Renaissance, when art was "King" when the likes ot Dukes Ellington, Count Basie, Joe Williams, Sarah Vaughn, Langston Hughes, Zora Neal Huston. Malcom X, Adam Clayton Powell, and this was at the time when the World famous Apollo was at its peak, when the Baby Grand was swinging, when rent parties was a daily occurrences, when the smell of chittling,Pig feet, fried chicken, friday nights fish fry, collard greens, and Potato salad were a permanent part of the aura.
Mr.Blues has the sound that invades a room transcending from tears to swing at a moments notice. This CD, which is a tribute to Mr. joe Williams, gives one the experience of Mr.Blues, a man who has experience and knows what it means to sing the Blues from the Carolina's to the Urban Cities. Mr.Blues is gifted entertainer who sings PoP, Jazz and Blues songs that designed to showcase his "bag of tricks" turing over worked classic into entirely new experiences.

A tribute to Joe Williams, has a special significant for Mr.Blues, Mr.Blues considers Mr.Joe Williams as one of his mentors who influenced him to become the artist he is today so out of deep respect and appreciation this CD was Created.

So sit back and relax and enjoy the soft rhapsodic bellow of Mr.Blues.
