Album Notes
My first record was recorded in 1968 and for 40 plus years I’ve been blessed. God has been good to me. To all of my fans, around the world, thank you for your support. It has been a long ride, but I have enjoyed every day and mile. Fans that have followed my career over the years, will love this new CD. It will take you back to 1975 and bring you back to the present.
Thanks to all my D.J. friends for supporting me for so many years, and God bless you all. I picked this material for you, and I dedicate it to all my friends that have gone on before me. I miss all of them. To my good friend and Big Brother Bobby Blue Bland, thank you for walking me through with this blues song "Please Don’t Leave Me This Way," I love you man!.
I would like to thank Steve Washington, Clarence(Little World)Stark, Sam Honey, Christy B. from KKDA Radio, Cedric Goodman, James Falcon, Wallace Carter, Wayne Jones, L.L. for the Rap on "Lets Get This Party On" and my friend King Arthur for all of his support. I want to thank Scott Bock from" Living Blues" for the intense article.
Thanks to Pastor Shank H. Robinson and my Church family at New Un ity Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas, for keeping me in their prayers.
