Album Notes
One of the Originators voices of the Latin Hip Hop movement is back with Stories of a compelling voyage to the Underground roots where it all began! Ese Daz, a founding member of Spanish Fly, Latin Hip-Hop's early pioneers in the Chicano Rap Game, has been circulating in the Underground music scene for over a decade. Respected by his peers and loved by his fans, Ese Daz is once again revolutionizing Latin Hip Hop with new music filled with gripping stories told through baiting Lyrics and addictive Beats. E-dub of Pocos Pero Locos has co-produced many songs with Ese Daz including the Hit song "Something About You" Produced by Javi Lopez which hit #3 on the Top 20 countdown on MTV TRES. "
Ill always remember the feeling i got listening to Spanish Fly's first album " says E-dub "They were reporting in the same Language spoke at home, everything that was happening in the Streets at the time" In the early 90'S when Spanish Fly hit the scene with the singles "Soy 18 with a Bullet and O.G. Lowrider" It was the beginning of a revolution, by 1991 when their First album "Trust No Man" came out, sales surpassed 250,000 units excluding sales through non- traditional outlets.
It was indeed that kind of response that propelled Ese Daz to record "The Prince of the HXA" and create 110 South Music his indie Record Label. "I feel like i was there in the beginning but at the same time i feel like i am barely getting started. This is a new beginning states Ese Daz. Growing up in the Barrio and seeing all the things happening around gave him the incentive not only to include that in his lyrics, but to become an example to his peers by staying in school whilst simustaneously amassing success in the entertainment world. Education became of such important to Ese Daz that he now holds a Masters Degree in Education from the Azuza Pacific University and aside from reaching youth with his Music, he's made it a point to go back to his roots everyday as a Middle School Educator in the Los Angeles
