Album Notes
Ethereal in E is comprised of the soloist Adam Foote on his steel drum, called a handpan. The handpan is a made of two sheets of steel, soldered together, with divots on the top of it shaped to various sizes. The small divots produce a high pitched tone, while the large divots produce a low pitched tone, and the center ding provides the bass.

Adam was born and raised on a farm outside of Cleveland, Ohio in the United States where he learned the all too often forgotten skill of hard work. He relocated to the Pacific Northwest by chance on a spontaneous road trip in a converted Astro van with a mattress in the back in search of natural beauty, wilderness, and adventure. He has always had a passion for music as he was inspired by the drummer of his childhood church and has since been pursuing a professional career as a percussionist.

Adam began his career as a musician on the street corner as a busker. He has been mystifying pedestrians since, as he can often be found street performing along the promenades of downtown Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, pausing to say hello and teach onlookers about the mesmerizing instrument. Adam also plays music for private parties, events, and local restaurants.
