Album Notes
In 1981 the movie-fairytale that immediately became a classic, "Maria Mirabella" came out. In 1982, at the International Film Festival in Giffoni (Italy) it won the first prize in the category of animated films. Best music award, by composer Eugen Doga, by Filmmakers Association of Romania (ACIN), 1981.

Eugen Doga - the author of the "Luchaferul " and "Venancio" ballets, instrumental and choral works, symphonies, quartets, music for theatre performances and more than 200 films, as well as more than 260 songs and romances"The famous waltz from the motion-picture "A Hunting Accident" is one of the most famous music works of the 20th century.
Eugen Doga wrote more than 40 romance songs with the poems of Mihai Eminescu and Veronica Micle, is currently composing an opera titled "The Dialogues of Love.

The song "My White City " is the official anthem of Chisinau, the capital of Moldova.
Academician of several academies, received numerous awards.

He had a non-stop active concert and social life, created in Chisinau the Music salon “Eugen Doga”, which goal was to unite people through art and communication.
He received the following awards: People's Artist of the USSR, a laureate of the State Prize of the USSR, Commendatore “Stars of Romania”, the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland”, the Order “Danaker”, among others. Academician of several academies. About his 8 books were written and 6 movies made, among television programs.
Two waltzes by Eugen Doga are included in the top 200 best classical works of all time.
The minor planet # 10504 is named in honor of Eugen Doga.
