“Sin Mi”— music by Eugene Marlow, lyrics by Rachel Cordeiro, vocalist Jenn Jade Ledesna—is a lament in a bolero/ballad mode from a woman’s perspective on the breakup of a relationship.

Sin Mi/Spanish lyrics
En este momento no soy nadie
Sin tus labios y tu amor
Tu presencia y tu olor

Estoy esperando que sin mi
Tu veas que asi
Tu sientes la soledad
Y necesitas a regresar

Bridge to end:

Antes que las memorias
Se desvuelvan en nuestras manos
Quiero aguantarte con ellas de Nuevo

Without Me/English lyrics

In this moment I am nobody
Without your lips and your love
Your presence and your scent

I am waiting that without me
You will see, like that-
You feel lonely
And you need to return

Before the memories
Dissolve in our hands
I want to hold you in them once more

The first album in the series—released in mid-July 2014--featured French lyricist/songstress Amelie Cherubin on three tracks with original music by composer/producer Eugene Marlow. The second mini-album featured songstress/lyricist Anne Mironchik (“A Perfect Storm”). Marlow’s Heritage Ensemble is featured on both these albums. The third mini-album also featured Shira Lissek singing "Go Like the Wind" with lyrics by Ellen Woloshin. The fourth track in the series was “For the Children” with lyrics by Janet Lawson. This song inspires adults and parents to support children in their quest to be true to themselves.

Marlow has produced over 240 jazz and classical pieces for solo instruments, chamber ensembles, and jazz big band. Now for the first time he is collaborating with a highly talented cadre of female lyricists/vocalists—all the tracks/lyrics center on relationships and feelings from a woman’s perspective. Like much of Marlow’s past work, the mini-album series is multi-cultural: the lyricists/vocalists come from many backgrounds, including American, Canadian, French, Hispanic, and Hebraic.

Marlow has released each of the mini-albums since July 14, 2014 and will continue with additional mini-albums through 2016. Each album is now available for either streaming or download at cdbaby.com/artist/eugenemarlow.
