Award winning vocalist, Eve Cornelious, won the Jazz Composers Fellowship for her original tunes “We’ve Changed” and “A Thoughtful Message.” As a ‘BET Jazz Vocal Discovery’ she served as a host of ‘BET’s Jazzy Vocals’ TV show and has enjoyed a remarkable career touring nationally [playing regularly in New York City]; and abroad in Europe [France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Finland, Holland], eastern Europe [Russia, Lithuania, Estonia], Canada, Japan, and Cuba performing at festivals [Jazz Province, Nida, Jazz @ Philharmonic, Lionel Hampton, Spoleto, Playboy, North Sea, Monterey, Montreal, Montreaux, JVC @ Lincoln Center and Newport] as well as appearing in clubs and with symphony orchestras [among others]. She has performed and/or recorded with Ramsey Lewis, Chucho Valdez, Javon Jackson, Jon Hendricks, Norman Connors, Roy Hargrove and others.
A National Education Hall Famer with a BS degree in business management from Hampton University in addition to two degrees [BA, BM in jazz & music] from North Carolina Central University she was appointed the first jazz vocal instructor in the North Carolina University System. Her vocal rendition of Flamenco Sketches is featured on the prestigious radio station of Smithsonian Institute.
A New Jersey native raised in southern Virginia, she currently resides in New York City and North Carolina.

Albert “Chip” Crawford, [M.Ed., BM], was recording at age fourteen and eventually attended the Berklee College of Music when soon after he began touring the USA and Europe working and/or recording with the legendary Four Tops, pianist Joe Zawinul, trumpeter Donald Byrd, Isaac Hayes, Houston Person and producer Teo Macero. He was integral in forming ‘Workshoppe’, a popular improvisational group.

Recently awarded the International Songwriters Competition Award for jazz and twice awarded the Jazz Composers Award, Chip plays regularly in NYC clubs. He loves teaching and is a former faculty of Duke University, NCCU, St. Augustine’s and UNC-Chapel Hill.

Both are recipients of The Indie Award and regularly conduct clinics and workshops such as Jazzutaniment...in the schools! and “Body & Soul”..a vocal transcription class which was introduced at the International Association of Jazz Educators Conference in California.
