Evening Sun's 3rd album release featuring 9 new originals including Sonoma Cradle Moon, Cold Shit On A Paper Plate, All About My Baby, Fashion. and The Blues Is Low & Slow; plus 5 cover tunes paying homage to some of the great Black & Blues artists of yesteryear such as Allen Toussaint ("On Your Way Down"), Elmore James, & Sonny Boy Williamson ("One Way Out") along with some white people too: Carole King & Gerry Goffin ("Chains" - recorded by The Beatles in 1964), Paul Barrere and his father Gabriel ("Old Folks Boogie" - recorded by Little Feat in 1977), and Don Robertson & Howard Barnes ("I Really Don't Want To Know" - recorded by Eddie Arnold and Elvis Presley amongst others). This album features the incredible world-class flute performances by Elizabeth Erenberg on "On Your Way Down", and "The Blues Is Low & Slow". Evening Sun has come a long way since the 2nd Annual Watts Summer Festival in 1967. Rock on.........
