Album Notes
Recorded with many of the same recording practices as the Beach Boys' Pet Sounds this album is sure to start making waves. Heavy hitter Chris Thile hasn't commented on the album yet, assuming the aforementioned artist is astonished to the point of speechlessness at the musical prowess of the boys. The band spent tireless hours writing and recording this debut masterpiece.

When asked where the band wanted to have their release party guitarist and heartthrob Russ Canon was quoted saying "We wanted to play our favorite bar Conor Byrne". Barefoot Fiddle player, Jon Lopez said "Look, I've been in Carnegie, and the Hollywood bowl, those are okay for an amateur band like Old Crow but let's be honest ain't nothing got that Conor Byrne sound like Conor Byrne"

Banjo player, Stan Hall added "And I don't want to give away any surprises but we're going to have a PRETTY PRETTY cool opener" he then proceeded to wink. One can only wildly suspect, Gillian Welch?! Death Cab for Cutie?! Wilco?!

"We decided not to charge for signatures or photos with the band", Bassist and amateur Lego architect chimed in "It's always been about the fans, don't matter how much fame go to our head ya know? We're still just the Shakers, we're still us ya know?"

Brother Moses, as the boys refer to him, had this to say in closing "Look Granddad is a state of mind". This author is just as confused by the previous statement.

Fabulous album!!

Great songs. I'd love to play some of these (just no covers allowed) on my syndicated show "Country Legends In The Making" that reaches 400 am/fm stations around the world. You can take a look at my radio site at http://www.tspcountryradio.com and even listen to the recorded version of the show there if you like. Get back to me at ddsj84@yahoo.com if you want the airplay.
