Album Notes
Running is the debut single release from songwriting duo Every Lovely Thing from Dayton, Ohio! Formed by singer-songwriters Marianne Kesler and Kate Stanton following a decade long friendship, Every Lovely Thing's ambient dream pop may incorporate beats and electronic elements. Their emerging signature sound often features Kate on piano, keyboard, and synths, and Marianne on acoustic guitar, with Kate handling lead vocals on many of the songs and Marianne supplying the counter-parts and harmonies.

A Cool Song for Radio
I've been a fan of Marianne Kesler's music since the mid to late 90's when I first came across her music. I used to play some of her songs on community radio. I've reviewed two of her solo albums for book/music/film website The Phantom Tollbooth. Over the years, I've seen her develop and expand her art and change from folk/folk rock to intelligent pop. It's truly wonderful to see her and Kate Stanton form a musical duo, and it's only fitting to see Marianne's son, Ben Kesler, at the production helm.
'Thoughtful introspective lyrics set to ambient dream pop' is a fitting way to describe this. Definitely a cool song for radio.
