SMOOTHJAZZ.COM REVIEW
Nearly 40 years after taking us to “Funkytown” as keyboardist and musical director of Lipps, Inc., Minneapolis-based keyboardist/composer Ivan Rafowitz – professionally known by his moniker E-Von - keeps the soulful and tasty jazz-funk flowing on his new self-titled album, the follow up to his 2014 DUALLY NOTED. If you like Brian Culbertson and Jeff Lorber, you’ll love E-Von!
