ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes

The title of the album comes from Alain De Botton's book 'Essays In Love'. The book is a philosophical exploration of the nature of relationships. This book influenced the crafting of 11 songs that tell the story of two people's journey as they meet, fall for each other and... Well you will have to have a listen.
Look out for Andy's novel based on the characters and these songs which brings the whole story to life.

These Four Walls - The harsh reality of going home alone
Close Encounters - Taking a deep breath and heading out for an evening
This Is The Moment - The precise moment on the clock when a new relationship starts to form
Feels So Good - The joy of an early romance
Mad About You - Where love and insanity meet
Jealousy - There is always a past and the potential for strong emotions
See You Again - Dealing with rejection
The Last Goodnight - In the days of text messages, is there a last goodnight sent by phone?
Four In The Morning - Lying in bed awake and contemplating life
Smile In My Eyes - The memories that spark emotions
The Glory of Love - The celebration of romance and all it has to offer.

The album features some impressive performances. Drummers everywhere need to check out the class that is Nick D Virgilio. Guitar players can gush over Tim Payne's amazing solos. Acoustic players can try and work out the weird combination of partial capos and re-tuning that make the songs playable.

When you listen to the album, consider this to be the sound of the sub-conscious . The self talk that spins in the head during a relationship.
Try shuffling the album to tell a different story. Perhaps yours?
