ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Ohh Ohh Ohh - was written and recorded in June 2015 as part of my "Song a Month Challenge" and shared on my website and on YouTube.
It is a song at first glance about song writing but as I make my way through it, it is really about trying to express yourself to someone you love.

Lyrics:
It's when you think you know what to write when it all falls apart
A blank page staring back at you and you don't know where to start
It would be so easy, to make it up as I go
A couple of words just thrown together until it starts to flow
(chorus)
Ohh Ohh Ohh

(verse 2)
The scratching pen so satisfying when it finally hits the page
But if you're searching for wisdom, I am not your sage
Peeling back the layer, surprised by what I find
I map my way to the center by devising clever rhymes
(repeat chorus)
(verse 3)
Try as I may to hear the muse speak
She knows much better than to trust me when I'm weak
The wind may tell me secrets but in confidence I'll share
What a little birdie told me while I was standing there
(repeat chorus)
(verse 4)
It's when you think you know what to write that it all falls apart
Try to share that sacred language that's found within my heart
These words may be jumbled but their meaning I'll convey
Being with you is the best part of my day
(chorus)
