ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Guitarist Fabien Degryse plays here some of his latest compositions with one of the best rhythm section. The sound is pretty new: few jazz guitarists have ever tried to record on a steel-string acoustic guitar with a rhythm section.

On his previous CD, "Fabien Degryse Jazz", the result was with no doubt excellent. The music of "The Heart of the Acoustic Guitar" is more acoustic, more subtle and leave more space to the unique, crystal clear sound of the old Martin guitar Fabien uses. Listening to those recordings makes obvious that this was a great idea.

just open your ears...!
Such a composer(thank you,...music!) such a guitarist (thank you, Belgium!), such an instrument (thank you "Martin & C°"!)... I can't believe he's not known all over the world. Please, wake up, ...world!

If you like jazz acoustic guitar, you'll love it !
The compositions are nice and the sound is great.
This is the best autoproduction I've heard (with mine of course ;-).
