Rub Some Voodoo on It

by Falcon Awesome

We went back to the 70's where rock was analog, passionate, and unpredictable. Where groove and dynamics mixed with a bit of blues and funk. We brought that style of songwriting back and paired it with powerhouse percussion and modern production.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
A metal drummer, a singer/songwriter with gospel roots, a guitarist who loves blues and funk, and a bassist stuck in the 80's walk into a bar...

Although it sounds like the recipe for bad joke, it turns out to be a recipe for something that is both fresh and new, yet enticingly familiar. This project honors our roots, that era of music before radio became too plastic, produced, where you grew up loving the crank the stereo in your car while singing along as you cruised.

Falcon Awesome is all analog, baby! While we use modern tools to record, that writing and recording process is done just like it was done in the "old days" where a band would rehearse until it was tight as could be, then hit the record button and tried to catch lightning in a bottle. No auto-tune, no digital tweaking, just four guys doing what they love and having fun doing it.
