Her columns, essays, reviews, and interviews have appeared in Windplayer, Billboard Live, Jazz Notes, All About Jazz - Los Angeles and RealTalkLA. She writes a monthly column on the Concord Jazz Group's website. Her original recordings can be heard on the FX series, The Shield.

Anne resides on the music faculty of the University of Southern California and is the author of JAZZ VOCAL TECHNIQUES (JazzMediaPress2007).

"Los Angeles singer and pianist Anne Farnsworth's calling cards are standards and modern pop - combining tasteful improvisation with lyric imagination and a pinch of humor..."
La Stampa
Torino, Italy

"Appearing on Clearwater Beach for the first time, Anne Farnsworth is a welcome addition to the local Jazz scene. Anne's vocal range and unique stylings are absolutely gorgeous. This review marks the first time Anne has been written about in the area but will by now means be the last."
Tampa Tribune
Tampa, Florida

"With a profound knowledge of the history of jazz and the American songbook, Anne interprets standards with witty elegance and genuine sociablility. With her improvisational flair and lyric imagination, she evokes the models of humor and swing, Blossom Dearie and Annie Ross."

"In a coy solo on "Body and Soul", she recalled Billie Holiday. Scatting impressively on "Twisted", she gave this chestnut the offbeat elegance of a Blossom Dearie."
Worcester Record
Worcester, Mass.

“Anne’s vocal stylings are just gorgeous…”
Tampa Tribune

“…a very hip musical sense.”
Linda Yohn, Music Director
WEMU, Ypsilanti, MI

“Saturday Morning is the kind of release that is best described as ‘timeless’. She can sing and she can play. If you love vocal Jazz you’ll love Saturday Morning.”
Rob Moore

“We have been giving it airplay for some time – listeners are enjoying the tracks we’re playing.”
Eric Cohen, Music Director
WAER, Syracuse, N.Y.

“I'm very impressed with SATURDAY MORNING. A thoroughly fine disc.”

Great singer
The CD is really neat. It's got a lot of wonderfully sung music. It's worth it! Love it!

Wonderful CD
The CD is very well produced. The collection of songs are very nice, and the talent in the CD can be clearly heard. Anne, the lead singer, really sings great, and the other guys are fantastic. I bought it a few weeks ago, and man, I am still listening to it on numerous occasions. Thanks for producing this fantastic CD. Keep up the good work.
