Album Notes
This is our 7th album, collection of songs. It's a bit of a departure from the last couple of things we've recorded. This group of songs has a definite classic rock feel, without emulating anybody in particular. We have advertised ourselves as "the Wabash Valley's Most Obscure Rock Group." That's a little inside joke. Our music is a quirky mix of a lot of elements. We coined the phrase "Nuvo Retro" to describe our sound. We always liked to rock, but equally had a softer side. We've found that a lot of the traditional genre labeling doesn't apply. This CD ranges from some off-beat blues, a ballad or two, maybe a bit of channeling old metal, some "country-rock" and more. We hate getting into a rut. You won't find any auto-tune or digital audio cut & paste on our tunes. As the "old school" players that we are, we just play the tracks straight up. Real honest music from people that have been playing together for many years. Basically, we ask that you just give us a listen. We think you'll find something you like!
