Album Notes
Greetings From Paris On The Kuskokwim--

A collection of hysterical songs that dare to tell the truth about Bethel, Alaska.

With the help of some of Bethel's most notorious musicians, Michael Faubion (MY-kull FAH-bee-un) sets the grit, spirit, flavor, drama, and odor of Bethel, Alaska to music. From the Ice Road to the Sewer Lagoon, from Lousetown to Tundra Ridge, it's all covered. Sit down with some fish strips and fry bread and let the truth sink in...

What kind of music is it anyway?

You want categories? Okay--There's a folkish-country tune, a couple of pop standard-type tunes, a down-and-dirty blues thing, a calypso-Bo Diddly ditty, a rock-and-roll song, an instrumental, an a-capella and one song that's, well, kind of serious. The songs are all different, but they're all good. Even if you think you don't like some of these categories, you'll like these songs.

2,000 CDs sold since 1996; nearly 1,000 cassettes!

I Love it
After spending three days in town a few winters ago my ex wife who was working for the Health Org. in Bethel sent me the CD, Out of many hundreds of CDs I own it is by far the best in my collection. I LOVE it.

Thanks Mark

Great Album
I don't really give 5 stars unless I'm just totally blown away, but this is a great album. Hilarious if you've spent significant time on the YK delta in Alaska, especially Bethel. I love "cab driver" and "ice road" the most, but they're all good.

Great website, great service
This is well done and lots of fun.
