Album Notes

Born in chain, raised in pain
Tried to overcome my troubles but in vain
Found my lovers and my covers
Just to be free!

Spent my time doing the right thing
Search the super guy to offer me the ring
Run and fight from the beginning
Just to be free

Free, free, just to be free!

Put my father down on my knee
Locked the heavy door and threw away the key
Don’t give a damn for what they say
And what they see

The wheel is turning round and round
The world is screaming but I don’t hear a sound
Left my teacher and my preacher
Just to be free

Free, free, just to be free!

Fiona was born in Patras - Greece by a German mother and a Greek father.
She studied classical singing and sang in Greece and abroad, roles such as Aida, Turandot etc.
Her love for other kinds of music led her to perform in some world-fusion albums.
At the same time she collaborated with blues-rock bands, touring all over Greece.
She began composing her first songs as a member of the band Altribe, which released three albums and two digital singles.
Now she comes up with her new personal pop-rock project, produced and arranged by Nikos Antypas.
