Album Notes
Fiona Kennedy was the winner of Irelands first televised X-Factor Show called "Screen Test"..
From then on Fiona became a highly recognised artist on Irish television, performing on top chat shows
including "The Late, Late Show" and "Kenny
Live". Her own one hour T.V. special followed, and a performance with
the legendary Kris Kristofferson to an audience of 50,000
people got rave reviews and was broadcast on several occasions.

Fiona has also brought her music to Germany and Italy, and more extensively
to New York. Gigs in some of New York's finest venues including "The Bottom
Line" have been very successful, and she has also done several recordings in
Skyline Studios NYC.

Fiona's debut album was entitled"Crazy Love", and featured
several of her own compositions. The album was nominated for an
IRMA (Irish Recorded Music Award). Other nominees included
Sinead O'Connor and Frances Black.

Fiona has huge recording experience & several of her later tracks were produced by Jimmy Smith of Van Morrison and Bonnie Tyler fame.

Fiona's latest album "The Beach" has been produced by Bill Shanley at Cauldron Studios in Dublin. Bill is well known as a guitarist & producer for his work with Ray Davies(The Kinks), Gilbert O'Sullivan & Mary Black.

Fiona's vast and varied repertoire and her warm rapport with her audience make her a very popular performer. She has also performed in some of Irelands best music venues, including The National Concert Hall and Cork Opera House . She appears regularly in established music venues and she's much in demand at some of Ireland's major festivals. Fiona is also no stranger to TV and radio and has had her own one show, a one hour TV special, where along with performing herself, she has hosted some of the biggest names in the music industry in Ireland.
