Album Notes
Award-Winning Composer Richard (Ric) G. Flauding has composed-arranged-orchestrated hundreds of pieces of music in many styles and for various ensembles. His catalog includes music recorded-performed by the London Symphony, the Fort Worth Symphony and recently with orchestras in Mexico.
Ric’s recordings are played worldwide in radio-television and have featured many well-known jazz and recording session musicians such as Eric Marienthal, Russell Ferrante and Wayne Bergeron.
Ric studied composition with Dr. Albert Harris, John Shaffer Smith and many others. He has taught at several colleges and universities and is currently teaching at Weatherford College in Texas as well as appearing as guest composer-clinician at other music institutions.
