ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The name of the band is Foley Road. We like to say, "Where ever the Road takes us!"
We thought this album was a real indication of our beginning history as a band. As you listen to it, keep in mind that it covers the history our artistry over the span of a year. It is a record of our development from the summer of 2006 to the summer of 2007. Fred, Ann and myself began. Jill, our vocalist, came next and then Teresa, our flutist. You can hear the differences as we grow and mature.
Why Celtic music? Don't really think we need a reason. We love playing together. We love the songs we do. There is a lot of latitude for creativity, especially in the Celtic music environment of today. Where it will lead we really can't say. After all its:
WHEREVER THE ROAD TAKES US!
Good words to live by, we think!!
