Up With The Sun is The Follow’s 4th and most impressive full-length release to date. The artwork is notably clean, concise and professional. Everything about the artwork is complementary. The production on Up With The Sun rivals any, and surpasses most, major label releases.

Pop the CD in and the first thing you will notice is the crystal clear, radiant sound that is The Follow. Their sound is often compared to U2 yet stands all on its own. While I have enjoyed The Follow’s past efforts, their song writing and composing have improved greatly with this CD. Up With The Sun contains 12 songs that are catchy and well written. The melodies and hooks will have you singing along on the first listen. Each song is composed with such robust arrangement it is almost overpowering. Troy’s vocals are full of passion and brilliance. Mat's drum work pulls you right into the songs. Amy's bass playing is just right. All the pieces of The Follow's sound just melt together perfectly.

I started this review with the idea of writing about specific songs but I gave up. I would be writing for a week if I tried. Up With The Sun contains absolutely NO filler. Buy this CD; you will not regret it. This will be your new favorite CD!

This album is fantastic! I think Troy's voice has matured and clarified over the years, as I can remember some of the Follow's very first work. I am looking forward to their next album!
