Album Notes
People, I'm not going to lie to you. Fooled By April is a fun band, but a pain in the ass to describe. Some people say that they're sort of like the bastard son of Cheap Trick and Fountains of Wayne, while others compare them more to what the Clash might have been had they listened to a lot more KISS.

Perhaps the most apt label that has been applied to them is "Hi-Fi Garage," acknowledging that as much as they bring a ragged rock and roll enthusiasm to their music, it is always tempered by the need to get those four part harmonies just right.

But one thing is certain, if you're in the market for shoegazer whining or indie rock posturing you best look elsewhere - these guys just want to make you dance.

And right now lots of people are dancing. The song "Nice to See You" is currently being featured in the ABC Family Channel's promotions for it's fall lineup, while "Inspiration" and "What You Do" will both be included in upcoming DVD releases of Dawson's Creek and Party of Five.

Fooled by April would be so big in the UK
Fantastic, the best melodic power pop that I have heard for years. I am so sorry I did not find the CD before. With the right promotion in the UK this band would go to the top.

Good stuff
A very good EP from a very good band I only hope they put together an album in the near future, 6 tracks is not enough!

What a find--this is a fabulous cd! I haven't played anything else since it arrived at my door. All six tracks are stellar; the only thing that would make it better is if it was a full-length cd. Even our two-year old is rocking out to this one!

GREAT tracks! Way better than most mainstream bands!

a great pick
Fooled by April is a great band right out of Boston. The cd is unavailable in all stores outside of Boston at this point. But, it's definitely worth buying from I bought the cd for the song 'nice to see you here' and ended up loving all the songs on the cd. It is definitely a must-have cd.

Absolutely Amazing
This CD is wonderful. Nice To See You is such an amazing and moving song, I heard it on TV for the promo commercials for ABC Family and I had to find out about the band who does it. It is really incredible, I can't believe the radio stations haven't played it yet, too bad what's popular isn't always good. Awesome Job, Fooled By April.

i loved it!
it took me forever to find out what artist was responsible for the catchy song on the abc family commercials- and now i'm obsessed! NICE TO SEE YOU IS SOOO GOOD!

Power pop to make you boogie!
An excellent debut CD filled with toe tappin', butt wigglin' pop with lyrics that are witty and wistful all at once. A great cure for the blues, the blahs, or when you're fed up with the sameness of modern music. Check these guys out!

awesome cd-I love the song nobody knows
i loved the CD-all the tracks are great and so great to chill to.

I like it very much, but...
This is a pretty good CD. I just wish it were a bit longer because it doesn't feel done at the end.
