ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
ELECTRIC AFFAIRS is jazz guitarist's Francesco Lo Castro first the step into electric guitar and electronica based forms of composing, arranging and performing.
It is a side project where He is totally involved in the production of the album: from playing every instrument to sound editing and mixing.
The result is a colorful portrait of music ideas which create visual sound-scape full of images, feelings and indirect music references to some of the artists who influenced Lo Castro's taste in both music writing and electric guitar playing.
THese influences are more or less evident in tracks such as Electric Affairs (Marilyn Manson), Quentin (Tarantino's movie soundtracks), Rising (Jeff Beck, Dream Theater), Gianni Part II (Malmsteen, Petrucci), Smooth Feel (John Scofield), The Color Pink ( Pink Floyd) and Joe (Satriani) .
The remaining tracks (Quietly, Reborn, Fluctuations, Point of Fusion, Tanghero and Repeats) are fine examples of when It is the music that dictates a title (and images) rather than the opposite.
Enjoy it
