ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This disc is comprised of live two-piano performances at the Rocky Mountain Ragtime Festival in Boulder, Colorado.

The two Boesendorfer pianos used really provide a ballsy sound and one can feel the high-energy of the festival atmosphere on this recording.

Vibrant
I saw Scott Kirby and Frank French (and many others) at the Rocky Mountain Ragtime Festival in Boulder Colorado in 1999. I'm sorry I missed the 2000 festival. One of my favorite performances from 1999 was their duet of Womba Bomba, and the 2000 performance on this cd is just as vibrant. In fact, all the songs on this cd are enthusiastically performed. Scott and Frank and all those involved with the Ragtime Festival are generous talents. Thanks for a great cd.
