ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Franks first inspiration as a musician in this cave dates back to 2004 when he played his first cave concert in the „Hohle Fels“ in southern Germany. Since then it became a Site of amazing archeological findings like the wind instrument out of vulture bone or the „Venus of Hohle Fels“ carved out of the tusk of a mammoth, both dating 40.000 years back.
Since performing there each year he got a good idea what „suits“ this amazing environment. The big dome in Mother Earths belly reaches 29 meters high with constantly high humidity and 50°F throughout the whole year. The Acknowledgement of unesco to an official World Heritage Site had to be payed tribute to with a concert. Frank Heinkel and the WORLD HERITAGE PROJECT BAND did exactly that. Truly breathtaking musical arrangements including didgeridoo, percussion, piano, flutes, guitar, sax, n´goni and overtonesinging. The 3 sold out concerts on July 22nd and 23rd took the audience to a different place and caused sometimes goosebumps and brought tears into some eyes.
The Artwork of the following CD whith very haptic inside out digifile and 16 page booklet accomplished this amazing experience appropriately. Thanks to the amazing musicians and sound crew these moments are now ready to be shared with you, ...enjoy the journey.
