ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Biography:Frank White:The name may be ordinary, but Houston independent rap label owner/filmmaker Frank White has proven he’s an extraordinary businessman. With over a decade of experience, White is redefining how the world sees “southern country rap.” It was 1999 when White decided to leave his hometown of Amarillo, Texas and take his talents to the Bayou City, thinking Houston could bring more luck in the rap arena. It’s there that he developed a love of “Screw Music" and the Houston style of rap. The brothers’ hard work is paying off. With over 25 releases from Unkutt Global/Frank White Films and sales that are turning heads (they sold 100,000 units independently), White and his brother are looking at a bright future in the rap game. And they’re working with some of the best talents to make that happen White – who has a degree from Sam Houston State University - has worked with artists from California, New York and Texas, including Sean Blaze who has worked with 50 cent on the Get Rich or Die Trying album and Chammillionaire on the Sound of Revenge. White is know falling in love with the film industry! White just signed a distribution deal with the Maverick Entertainment for his upcoming project "Rent A Car", which also stars Shawn Harris nephew of the late great comedian Robin Harris from Spike Lees "Do The Right Thing" and Eddie Murphy's " Harlem Nights". After selling over 10,000 DVD's with no distribution from his first release (At All Cost), Frank believes that Maverick will get him to where he wants to be. “Getting distribution deals are difficult right now." "For Maverick to give us an oppurtunity to prove ourself, you have to be humbled!" White is confident if anyone can make it happen, he can. "From what I can see Maverick is top at what they do with DVD distribution, this is the kind of company I want to be apart of." His goal is to prove himself as an artist, produce quality films, stay consistent day to day and grow as an actor/filmmaker.” And with multiple projects on his plate, White believes the sky is the limit. “Five years from now, I see myself as part of the new revolution in the film and music industry. Since I hate to lose and love to win, I know I’ll make that happen!”
