ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Fredrik picked up the guitar for the first time at the age of twelve after watching a Guns N’ Roses live concert on TV. Since then he has gradually grown as a guitar player and musician and has played and worked with world mentioned musicians such as Ron ”Bumblefoot” Thal (Guns N’ Roses), Mattias IA Eklundh, Lalle Larsson and Dave Martone to name a few. His work has been highlighted in magazines such as: Guitar Player, AXE Magazine, Gitar Plus and Guitar Ink etc.

In 2011 Fredrik released his first solo album Silhouettes, an album that received positive reviews all over the world. Many critics agreed that he had reached new boundraries in the world of instrumental guitar music. In addition, Fredrik has released a number of singles (read more in the discography section).

Beside writing and recording his own music as a solo artist, Fredrik is
working as a session player, guitar teacher and clinician. Throughout the years Fredrik has also been writing columns for Swedish guitar magazine Guitar Ink as well as for various websites.

Fredrik is also involved in a project, named In Focuz, with fellow guitar player Christian Johansson. They are currently writing and recording their first album together. The genre will be more fusion-oriented and quite different from Fredrik’s previous work. Due to be released soon.
