ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Tail Of The Shark, was produced by Fred and mastered at Capitol Records in Hollywood. For this album Fred assembled a terrific band called Fredy Boy to join him which includes such marque players as Tom Croucier, Grammy Winner Raul Pineda, guitar maven Jeff Kollman and, the legendary Joe Porcaro, just to name a few. (In addition to all that, while at Capitol Fred worked with renowned engineer/producer and 23 time Grammy Winner, Al Schmitt, who mixed several of the tracks on the record).
The record will sport 11 tracks including my favorite, That Old Black Magic,

With a renaissance of sorts happening with the Cuban nation and our country our own Fred Beato and his band, Fredy Boy, could not have picked a better time to release their new video about their recording of Nosotros, a Cuban bolero. Fredy Boy’s rendition of Nosotros will be a featured track on their upcoming debut album and the record features a number of marque musicians such as Grammy Winning drummer Raul Pineda and the multi-talented bassist/vocalist Tomas Croucier, amongst others.

Raul Pineda
The historic track (which when translated to English means “we”) was originally composed by Pedro Junco, Jr., in 1920 and it has been sung by more than 400 artists including Placido Domingo and Jose Feliciano.
