ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"It doesn't make sense if you say it out loud," says Matt. In 2003, fellow film students Matt Spratt and Ramblin' Jon began bangin' on stuff together. Borrowed instruments and improvised lyrics became the basis for songs about love and bugs. Their ragged recordings were like, "Hey, dig this one part. OK, now cover your ears".
A few more friends joined in (Heather, Scott & Steve) and the insta-rock ensemble was renamed The French Babies. The band has continued in starts 'n fits to create simple song-alongs with healthy amounts of energy and indifference. "BIG & small," says Jon.

"Pee on Spiders" is the band's first bona-fide long-player and contains 11 songs recorded on tapes and computers between 2004 and '07. Track 6 was recently featured in the horror film THE RECOVERED starring B-Queen Tina Krause.
