ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Fritz Heede is an LA based music artist who weaves eastern and western influences into dramatic and evocative works that reveal the mystical. Equally at home with styles ranging from electronica grooves to symphonic epics to folkloric aboriginal drones, Fritz’s work is progressive yet heartfelt.

Starting out as a student of flamenco guitar, Fritz soon expanded his musical palette to other exotic stringed instruments and percussion. He added electronic keyboard programming and orchestration to his skills. He has created music for various feature films and television specials like NBC’s Emmy winning “Mystery of the Sphinx” He started working with computer video artist John Banks, with whom he created the surreal art DVD “Illuminated Manuscripts”. The duo’s new follow-up DVD is “Ritual Path”.

The music CD Ritual Path stands on it's own. The pieces are rich and sensual and range from pure instrumental to some atmospheric vocal tracks. Guest singers include Jon Anderson of YES, kaRIN of Collide, Molly Pasutti and Nijole Sparkis.
