Album Notes
Since From Apes To Angels' launch in August 2015, the UK-based synthwave duo has self-produced a debut EP, New Skin, and a string of stunning singles.

Their "hypnotic new wave sound and lush melodies" (The Revue) has received plaudits from music bloggers and fans worldwide. In December 2017 they appeared on both volumes of RetroSynth Records' Ladies of Synth compilation.

The pair - Millie Gaum (vocals) and Andrew Brassleay (synths) - have been busy in the recording studio, and are set to release their debut LP later in 2019.

“Well kiss my inner Depeche Mode on the cheek and call me Winona! This is a gloriously electronic explosion of ’80s inspired dream pop. Music made by people who are thrilled by electric.” Fresh On The Net

"We’ll always have a soft spot, though, for those who create songs that cause our chests heave, our hearts to flutter, and our minds to think about the perfect moment in our lives. English duo From Apes to Angels have fortunately filled the gap this year, which makes them one of our favorite discoveries of the year." - The Revue

"Overflowing with gorgeous, shimmering synths and angelic vocals" - Zapatero Music

"Synthpop that caresses your inner DM soul while feeding your hunger for new music" - synth.nu

"A wonderful Dreamwave duo with exceptionally sensitive music" - Dark Life Experience
