Album Notes
The Full Circle Jazz Ensemble is group of top flight musicians from the Seattle, WA area.
The Wheels Are Turning CD is a collection of 10 classic tunes arranged by Bob Hammer, 1 by Stewart "Dirk" Fischer and 1 by George Stone. Please research the credit and discography of these three fine arrangers for their accomplishments are too numerous to show here.
Just to give hints: Bob Hammer was staff writer for Impulse Records from 1957-1964. Among some of the legends who Bob wrote and played piano are: Charlie Mingus, Johnny Hartman, Elvin Jones, Cozy Cole, Woody Herman, Gene Krupa, and many others.
