Album Notes
This is a story of a girl and a boy, across the Pacific Ocean, 31 years of time, and the music.
Here is how this CD was born.
Kimberly was an exchange student from the US to Japan in 1977. She met Nobuo who was a volunteer councelor for students. Nobuo played music for her and gave her the score of a song. (that was "When You Are With Me")
She left Japan and also left the score in an envelope.
In July 2008, Kimberly was looking for her social security card and during that search she found a strange looking envelope in the pile of papers. She opened it and she fell on the floor. In that envelope, there was that score from 31 years ago.
Kimberly called up Nobuo in Japan. Nobuo started to write songs again.
In March 2009, Kimberly met Peter Sprague who agreed to produce CD for them. And in July 2009, they recorded 10 songs in Spragueland Studios and made this fantastic CD called "When You Are With Me"
