Album Notes
Jamie Bernstein is a singer-songwriter, television/movie actor and record producer from New Orleans, Louisiana. Untill now his focus has primarily been Americana, Future Cowboys is a bit of a departure from the genre.

While Bernstein's song craft is still evident, he has teamed up with some new producers to create a fresh sound. Eren Cannata is an Emmy award winning producer from Los Angeles Califonia, and he did the engineering and played many of the instruments on the tracks. The mastermind behind teaming Cannata up with Bernstein was Bernstein's old friend from the 1990s Miguel Oliveira. Miguel had been experimenting with Cannata adding modern production techniques to singer-songwriter music with his production company Pantherburn Studios. He felt that Bernstein would be a perfect fit to help them bring their sound to the next level lyrically and vocally.
Miguel's instincts proved to be dead on and the collaboration of the three songwriters yielded six finished tracks that made the cut. There was a feeling among the collaborators that only the strongest material be released.
The result is six expertly crafted and recorded songs that take you on a journey into the modern psyche. The desires and fears of modern life are explored through a sonic lens that focuses the emotions of Bernstein's low story teller voice.
