ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
These compositions are influenced by my love of jazz from its inception through bebop, hardbop, fusion, and modal genres. My goal is to write lyrical music that feels good, conveys a strong mood, but still has unexpected twists and turns.

To have the legendary Lynn Seaton and Ed Soph accompanying me with their infinite experience, creativity and positive energy was a dream come true. Their playing inspired me to take risks and gave a distinct flavor to my compositions that I could not have imagined beforehand.

As my sixth album of original music, I believe I have created something that will be enjoyable whether or not the listener is a jazz fan. I sincerely hope that you find it moving in some way.
