Album Notes
With a strong, engaging voice and an inviting stage presence, Gail Weisman's style is reminiscent of the popular female folk-rock singer/songwriters of the 70s—but she has one foot firmly rooted in classic rock and roll, and the other in a mixture of funk, folk and blues.

She’s a veteran of the famed—and regrettably departed—Wetlands in the Tribeca district of New York City, where she opened for such up-and-coming bands of the 1980s as Blues Traveler and singer/songwriters like Steve Forbert.

Someday, Gail will learn how to scream like Dave Grohl without suffering permanent vocal cord damage and will live her true rock and roll dream. Until then, she'll entertain herself—and hopefully others—with her original songs, favorite cover tunes and witty repartee.
