Album Notes
This is a group of songs, recorded November 2012, that my son asked me to record before he left for his Peace Corps assignment in Mozambique in 2010. He had not heard me sing the country tunes, and wanted to. A few extra were added because I love singing them. We rehearsed the band, then went into the studio and recorded all the tunes in one large room, live, in one day. The recording reflects the fun we had. The songs are solid, well crafted and deliver the ease of performance only generated by artists who have worked together for many years.
The collaboration includes some of the NW's finest: Jennifer Bundy - vocals; Mike Etchyson - vocals and bass; Rob Cook - vocals, piano; Beverly Daugherty - vocals and rhythm guitar; James Howard - vocals and lead guitar; recorded at AudioLogic Studio in Seattle, engineered by Jay Kenney.
