ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Garrett N. is a solo artist, instrumentalist, composer and producer. Some of the shorter tracks are more suited to production music, while others are longer and more progressive. Carefully recorded in audio (not MIDI), the music contains elements of jazz funk, progressive rock, and aspects of electronic music. Garrett N. has been releasing music digitally for most of the first decade of the 21st century, and has finally released a CD album.

-by: Gates_of_Light from San Francisco, California, on Garageband.com.

"Drawing on influences ranging from composer Lalo Schiffrin to early Pink Floyd to George Benson, Garrett N. manages to never repeat himself in a musical world built on Ambient sounds and punctuated rhythms... Instrumentals And Oddities is a must listen for an aspiring electronic musician or fan. Even folks who don’t normally take to the electronic side of the staff will find much to like here." -Wildy's World.

Other credits currently include:

*Incidental music on the sci-fi series "Explode" from Fantom Films, written by Jackie Clark, directed by Dexter O'Neill, and starring Nicholas Young.

Instrumentals and Oddities
Awesome CD. Perfect for plugging in and chilling out to. Go outside, start a campfire, pop the top off a good beer, put this CD in, and watch the stars. Cheers!
