Album Notes
The sacred and healing music of Indigenous peoples inspired me to write these songs. Traditional wisdom informs these songs. But they are fun and very much Canadian indie folk. There are at least 7 instruments played on the reggae tune "what would it take". There are vocal harmonies and 6 instruments recorded for the Irish jig "deep in doubt". There is a cool up tempo blues groove in "little lesson". All the songs are a bit ironic (but imminently hopeful and rallying) about the current state of our planetary interest in planning for a healthy future for I, You and We.
