Album Notes
Gary Macleod is recognised as one of the finest exponents of the classical guitar in Scotland. As a graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama he has studied with some of the greatest guitar virtuosos including David Russell, Manuel Barrueco and Jose Thomas. As a member of the Yehudi Menuhin “Live Music now” scheme for gifted performers he has given recitals in some of the most prestigious concert halls in the U.K. such as the Wigmore Hall in London and the Usher Hall in Edinburgh.
His most recent recital was with the head of Accordion from the Royal Academy of Music ,London when they performed Piazzolla’s concierto for guitar and bandonian.
