Album Notes
Greg "Gunner" Gunter created a Blues/Rock band in the 1970's named "Streetnoise" with Hugh Gaskins. We quickly became "thee" best night club band in San Diego
playing to packed houses all over town. We played our versions of popular recording artists of that time, such as The Stones, Van Morrison, Alvin Lee, Dylan, The Doors
and many others, as well as our original music. Sadly, we never recorded our songs and after a few years we reluctantly broke up and went our seperate ways. I, Gunner
got out of the music business but continued to write my Blusey/Dylan style of music and lyrics hoping one day to re-unite with my buddy Hugh and record. Finally after
24 years I found the time and had the songs, so I looked up Hugh. We got together and laid down this track. It's birthday was October 12th 2006. Initial response is
"really good music". A mix of Blues, Rock & a little Country flavor mixed in. If you like a variety of music with lyrics that inspire Daydreams, give us a listen. It's a Toe Tappin', Finger Snappin' ride.

a masterpiece among my favorite recordings
With my first taste of BACK ON TRACK, I felt uncertain in the journey; awareness in a ride without training wheels. The lead voice was on the radar screen but I couldn't determine the influence. Words like: girls like you do, from: MAMA WARNED ME and later, brother, from: YOU GONNA NEED AN ESCORT, carried a strange accent-- I couldn't settle on it. My participation was an act of suspension before a level of penetration was assured. Then, somewhere into side one, there was a meltdown. It was a subtle realization the emphasis and slants were superfluous camouflage for an artist with range into beauty, an instint into color. It was insulation to the richness of his delivery, guiding a new traveler into passion unique. I was on a ride with a surreal master of blues/rock imagination.

After hours of listening pleasure,I make a case for the ultimate moment in core elation. It's at the end of LONG GONE MAMA. The lead vocalist ends his guitar in a frenzy abruptness, then you hear his playful laugh.... in a near background, a female's high pitch thrilling response. It's hard not to imagine the moment.

I've traveled a long road from my first memory of: girls like you do. The wealth of composition lingers long after I turn off my player. Other people respond their favorites, it will be your favorites, also. But then you begin to manage the depth of creativity and organization, the haunting beauty of BROKEN BIRD and WASTELAND; a contrast in arrangement of TEASE ME and NEON MOONLIGHT. As a complete uniform effort, I make BACK ON TRACK a masterpiece among my favorite recordings.

Well Done
A Solid CD with songs that will keep you "Back On Track" for the long Haul. Some really Good Drivin rhythms and some stellar GUITAR WORK and solid Drumming from Hughie and Gunner. A Great effort by these two guys Keep It up.

A great CD to drive around town with , the driving rhythm just keeps you going . You better make sure you have plenty of gas in the car cause you wont wanna stop listening.

I liked it enough to buy it!!!
Great blues sound. Love the change up with 'Neon Moonlight'. Original music that is current to today's life. The more you listen, the more you get pulled in and hooked.

Excellent music!! A great CD!!
I really enjoyed this CD; I can't even categorize it, but it has a little taste of Dire Straits and a little bit of Rock-a-billy. Better then a lot of things I've heard that are out there now. Buy it, you won't be disappointed!!

I'm recommending to a friend
reminds me of the outlaws...great, moving!
