ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Soul music will never go out of style. Just like Otis Redding and the Allman Brothers spawned from the same bluesy roots, Gaslight Street melds pure Southern rock with charismatic vocals, traipsing the boundaries of blues and funk.
Winners of The Charleston City Paper's 2015 "Blues Artists of The Year", Gaslight Street’s regional presence has grown behind steady touring, and recording efforts. "Two Years Gone" is the band's fourth studio release since 2009. Featuring the unmistakably soulful lyrics and vocals of Campbell Brown and Whitt Algar as well as the funky rhythms of Stratton Moore, the trio strongly stakes the band’s place as worthy inheritors of the Southern soul tradition.
