ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The long-awaited album from Gaviss is now available direct from this website. Machine Voices will both excite and delight you.

The rhythmic and playful music of Machine Voices is intended to please the hearts and minds of both dancers and listeners. A fusion of machine-like vocals, techno, funk, trance, and even comedy that one never tires of listening to, Machine Voices is full of surprises. Each hearing reveals new elements and sounds that were not heard during previous listenings. The crisp and bright production is light and airy, shifting between trance scapes, psychedelic riffs, familiar and not-so-familiar vocal fragments.

The constant ever-present groove is a delight to the mind and body.

Almost no repeated sound/wave loops were used in the production of Machine Voices. Most of the sounds are produced by simultaneous analog synthesis creating a much more live sound (a room full of hardware).

Gaviss is a creation of California musician Jim Gordon.
