ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes

Being away from home so much facilitates getting so deep into thought and resurrecting memories and snapshots of things that happened in your life that will possibly grow into a song. I meet people from all over the world. Sometimes there will be a person who, for whatever reason, sparks a musical fantasy in me. I don't fully know them except for what I learn about them within about a weeks time. The rest of them is left up to my imagination. It all swirls around in my head and becomes a lyric. If it is a strong enough impression, it births a tune. What I come to know about them may also merge with something that's already happened to me. Songs are a little like making quilts out of your life experiences. Some of them big, some small, some colorful, some thin, some warm and some you keep tucked in your possessions forever.
