Album Notes
In 1995, Ivanhoe Road Music released this CD to great critical acclaim, and it firmly established Gayla Drake Paul as a force in acoustic music and songwriting. The side men on this recording are all brilliant players in their own rights - the legendary John Hartford, Bob Black, Craig Erickson, Marty Christiansen and Kerri Collings - and turn in stunningly inspired performances, recorded live in a studio while the musicians faced each other in a circle. The spontaniety and energy of those performances make this CD a truly hair-raising experience. Not to be missed!
